    8 Months On: Still Working?

8 months for 22% total body weight is a strong outcome on sema alone - that's a rate that holds up even without a dose increase. The rate comparison question is one of the first things new people get stuck on, but the individual variation is genuinely large. The real question at month 8 is what...

    Peptides for RA Relief?

GLP-1 anti-inflammatory effects tend to be dose-dependent - RA relief fading at maintenance is consistent with that.

    Too Many Injections?

The pen vs pin question usually comes down to convenience once you're past the learning curve - pens are faster to carry, vials give more flexibility on dose and mixing. If your doc already signed off on combining, that's most of the complexity handled; the injection count question becomes...

Shot day and progress tracker recs?

Seriously?! I had no idea! I just threw one away last week. I'll have to try that next time. It's expensive stuff!

Shot day and progress tracker recs?

I love Shotsy! I inject on Thursdays just in case I have side effects they'll be on the weekend.

Shot day and progress tracker recs?

It kinda depends on what your social life around food is like, as well as your health goals. I've noticed it peaks about 36 hours after the shot.

    Still hungry on week 2?

I can relate to that I've been reaching for protein shakes and yogurt like crazy. I used to eat more savory stuff like cheese and meat, but they're not appealing at all now.

    My clothes are too big!

I've recovered jeans and a lot of clothes from 20 or 30 years ago that I kept because they were very pretty but didn't fit me. Now there are things that are even too big for me. What happiness! 🥰

    Still hungry on week 2?

Maybe it's just digestion? My stomach is definitely making more noise these days. And what I eat seems to matter. Rice, for example, makes me hungry again pretty quickly. Remember it's only week two; give your body time to adjust.

Went back down on my dose!?

Are you managing diabetes with this medication? If so, how are your blood sugar levels looking? You definitely need to chat with your doctor about all this.

    Mixing peps: bad idea?

Great tip! I always end up with a mess when the water shoots in too quickly.

    Losing Coverage for GLP-1s?!

I order from overseas. I purchase the highest dose pen and draw the correct dose with an insulin needle. It's about $400 a pen with $30 shipping.

Starting Ozempic - First Week Thoughts

I'm so glad I found this thread! I just started and I'm nervous. Good to hear other people are getting benefits pretty quickly, even at the low dose. Fingers crossed!

    Mixing peps: bad idea?

I've seen so much arguing online about whether it's a waste of time to use a blended pep versus injecting them one by one. A well-known peptide expert, Dr. B, says to inject separately, but others say blends are perfectly fine. While I can see how blends might not be ideal for a super customized...
