    Just sharing! 6-month GLP-1 progress

53 lbs in 6 months from that starting point gives people in similar situations something concrete and real to hold onto.

    Pen Needles: Any brands better?

For subcut GLP-1 injections, 31g or 32g at 4mm or 6mm length is the standard. Brand matters less than gauge once you're past 31g - sensation difference between brands at that point is minimal. Compounder pen injectors vary significantly in accuracy, which is why vials plus syringes remain more...

    Just starting... anyone else?

Telehealth provider selection matters more than most people realize when starting out. The main things worth vetting: how responsive they are to dose adjustment requests (some require a visit for every bump, others do it by message), what they do when you hit a stall or have side effects, and...

    GLP-1 Side Effects...Or Superpowers?

injection site matters more than people think. different spots give different absorption patterns and how long the effects carry. worth trying arm or thigh if belly isn't working.

    Mounjaro and no gym?

Strength training is the key, not just any exercise. You can do two or three sets in just 15 minutes a day. https://youtube.com/shorts/-gpVTvTqieQ?si=Jocn_JUcac3ZhH2c I do 15 minutes per day and it's helpful. Good luck!

    Mounjaro and no gym?

That's probably water leaving your system and inflammation going down. You can drop pounds without formal exercise, but you might also lose muscle mass. You don't have to go to some special facility to get a workout in. Plenty of ways to do bodyweight exercises at home.

    SLU-PP-332 reconstitution woes!

I've been wondering about the best reconstitution liquid. I've seen some mentions of acetic acid instead of bacteriostatic water, supposedly for longer shelf life, specifically for IGF peptides. Has anyone looked into this?

    SLU-PP-332 reconstitution woes!

That's precisely why I chose capsules. I'm unsure if they are more effective or not, but they definitely offer superior convenience.

    Considering stopping GLP-1... anyone else?

When I was in a similar situation, I was advised to lower my dosage. You should still feel hunger. I got "too hungry" on a lower dose, and within a month, I went back to the higher one, but it was a good lesson in understanding my body's signals.

    Considering stopping GLP-1... anyone else?

I stopped two weeks ago, and my mental health has improved so much. I experienced severe anhedonia and depression while on the medication (especially 24-48 hours after injections), and nothing seemed fun. I didn't go to the gym, hang out with friends, or do any of my hobbies because nothing...

    Too many rules?

I also find that when people focus too much on restricting carbs, it's hard to stick with. I saw a Reddit post where someone said they lost a bunch of weight on a trip to Italy and ate pasta. It seems like the walking made a difference: 10km every day!
