Reta and Heart Rate: What's your experience?

Caffeine sensitivity shifts for a lot of people on GLP-1s. Pre-workouts that were manageable before can hit harder. Worth checking blended drinks for synthetic caffeine - di-caffeine malate and caffeine anhydrous are harder to estimate than coffee. If the rapid heart rate correlates with...

    Weight loss drugs: Too $$?

The alcohol reduction is one of the consistent unexpected effects most people do not anticipate before starting. Social drinking becomes easier to manage because the interest decreases rather than requiring willpower to resist. The weed gummy note is interesting - some people report changes in...

Finally hit my goal -- now what?

Protein-first changes what a meal looks like. Greek yogurt, eggs, cottage cheese, and lean meats tend to become defaults - they satisfy on smaller amounts. Fiber from vegetables fills the rest. Splurges still happen but the desire for them naturally shrinks over time.

What do you eat on the tough days?

Crackers... just a couple, and my nausea fades. I stash them everywhere now – car, work, my bag. It's like being pregnant all over again! 😉

What do you eat on the tough days?

Cottage cheese, broth, Greek yogurt, and bubbly water have been my go-tos. Luckily, I don't deal with nausea as much anymore. Just the occasional heartburn now.

Okay to stay on a tiny dose of Ozempic?

Thanks for the reminder to not overeat! It's so easy to eat way too much before I realize I'm full. I forget I don't need as much food anymore!

Okay to stay on a tiny dose of Ozempic?

My dr is keeping me on the lowest dose that works for me. Right now, .5 is good. If it's working, there's no need to up it!

    Hungrier on 8mg Reta?

OMG yes! I'm the same way with sweets! I never used to care about cake, but now I NEED it! I saw someone else say the same thing on a reddit thread ... I think the ozempic doesn't like some foods anymore lol

    Hungrier on 8mg Reta?

Reta... the glucagon part can make you super hungry and crave sugar. When I'm at 8 mg, I want to eat all the sugary stuff, and a LOT of it, so now I'm back to 6 mg. It controls my appetite better at 6 mg.

    Mounjaro's totally changed my life!

I'm on my second dose of 5mg, and not seeing much difference. I am going to keep at it, hoping it will eventually kick in. Anyone else experience similar situations? Thanks.

    Need bac water, quick!

I chose easy touch because everyone recommends them. I got the short needles. If I inject too fast, I get air bubbles. So I just go slow.

    Need bac water, quick!

I think it's personal preference. I tried a different gauge once, and it hurt so bad I went back to my usual kind. I'm getting tired of poking myself so many times, so I want the least amount of pain.

    Need bac water, quick!

If you're going to ask the pharmacist, just act like you know what you're doing. Buy other stuff too, so it doesn't look suspicious. I got some with peptides from a lab. I trust those brands. I think it's better to get it from a place that knows what they are doing!

What about saying it's for cosmetic use?
