Yes, that particular medication went generic because the manufacturer let their Canadian patent lapse.

Just getting started here. Asked for the generic version and they ended up sending Ozempic anyway at the same price ($104.70). Don't have the manufacturer savings card. Maybe they only check for it sometimes? Insurance won't touch this one, so at least I got lucky not paying the full retail...
