I take it on about half my weekdays at 5 mg and it really helps with my workouts. I'm able to push longer on runs, go faster, and when I do weights I feel way stronger.
The foot swelling would worry me even if it goes away overnight. Get another set of eyes on it, find an ER if that's all you have. Watch for pitting, one-sided puffiness, sudden changes, pain, or skin color shifts.

It happens even when you're careful. Part of it is burning through methyl donors and bottoming out when they get too low. Adding NAD+ and TMG Betaine helps - roughly 100mg NAD+ twice weekly and 4000mg Betaine split morning and night.
