    11 Months on GLP-1s!

The front-loaded pace in months 1-4 versus the slower back half is the standard pattern rather than an exception. The early loss is partly water weight and higher caloric deficit from novel appetite suppression; the body adapts over time which is why the 20 lbs after the initial phase takes...

Higher dose = more weight loss?

The plateau at 4 months on 6mg is worth investigating before assuming dose needs to go up. First: is protein actually hitting a consistent target, or has it drifted down with appetite? Second: total caloric intake may have dropped so low the body adapted and progression stalled. Third: is it a...

    Lost weight, gained...dysmorphia?

Body dysmorphia after significant loss is genuinely common and underreported. The brain's reference point for 'normal' gets calibrated over years and doesn't update at the same rate the body changes. Down 40 lbs from 208 with the scale now stalling is exactly the profile where composition is...

    Upping my dose - nervous!

I just did my first 2mg shot Sunday. I've had minimal side effects at all doses, to the point I wasn't even sure it was helping. I've had no new side effects so far, but I've been super full all day after my first meal both Monday and today. So it seems to be finally doing something!

    Upping my dose - nervous!

My doc is moving me from 1mg to 2mg. I've been at 1mg for over a year for my type 2, and I've been stuck. He wants to lower my A1C more. I'm worried about a big side effect jump. Any tips from those who've done this already?

Feeling sick all the time on sema?

Same here. I'm starting to think I might have a stomach ulcer.

Feeling sick all the time on sema?

I was on 0.25 of semaglutide for a month. Then I went up to 0.5 for 3 weeks but then I got a terrible stomach bug so now I'm back at 0.25. I've lost 17 lbs since Dec 20th but I always feel like I have some heartburn or like I'm gonna puke. Is this just how it's gonna be now? I'm glad the food...

    Reta working *too* well?

It usually takes around a month for GLP-1s to really kick in. Be patient, read around the forum, it's a marathon, not a sprint.

    Reta working *too* well?

No stranger to losing (and regaining!) weight. 😂 I started at 146kg, now 136kg. So I'll probably lose faster than most to start, just because of my size. Trying to get protein in, and I'll up my fiber too. Really need to get back to the gym, otherwise I'm going to lose all my muscle.

    Reta working *too* well?

Started on 4mg since I switched directly from another GLP-1.

    Reta working *too* well?

Yep, been trying to get mostly protein in. Today's actually the first day I've felt even a tiny bit hungry, so hopefully it'll even out as things go on.

    GLP-1: Fridge or nah?

I've heard of some clinics sending peps already reconstituted. That seems risky to me... I'd rather mix it myself. Anyone else get pre-mixed?

    Reta working *too* well?

Started on reta about 18 days ago...down almost 25lbs already. Starting to worry it's working *too* well. Almost have to force myself to eat, just zero appetite. Don't want to end up with gallstones or something!

    GLP-1: Fridge or nah?

Yep, Nicky_2002, it seemed to work just fine.

    GLP-1: Fridge or nah?

My small refrigerator died for about 10 days - completely missed it. I still used my peptides as normal. Anyone else skip refrigeration completely after mixing?
