    Hit my goal weight!

thank you! I honestly feel like I'm standing perfectly straight now lol yeah it's such a good feeling right! Used to lift weights before starting the second compound and it made me puff up so badly! Pilates has been amazing.

Down 80lbs - Diet is KEY!

You've got a solid plan going. Our numbers are pretty close. I'm currently 219 at 5'7 (started at 263). Early on I mostly focused on adjusting to the medication itself and the pounds came off naturally just from eating less, at least compared to my old habits, ha. Now I'm at the stage where...

Sharing GLP-1 use: yay or nay?

Honestly, I haven't told a soul, and keeping it quiet is genuinely the smarter move, otherwise people assume you're taking a shortcut when really it's just a tool that still demands staying on top of macros, calorie targets, protein, and actual exercise. People tend to picture this medication...

Ozempic and Vomiting: How Scared Should I Be?

Day three here and the nausea's brutal, honestly considering quitting already. Does it hit you every single dose? Haven't managed to keep anything down for two days straight now.

    Period cravings on GLP-1s?

Yeah, weird how that works. Still have maybe one a week, the sugary kind. Kind of grossed out thinking about all that sugar these days, but still crave one when it's really warm out, lol.

    Foods tasting weird, anyone else?

Yep, fruit tasted incredible to me that first month in. Plenty of stuff I normally loved just tasted off though. Mostly fades with time, at least it did for me. Enjoying food again these days. Just can't put away much of it, which honestly isn't a bad thing.

    Just starting out... your advice?

Ease into it with a low dose and climb slowly as your body allows. Take the shot at night so the early nausea hits while you're asleep. Yogurt, soup, and fruit will be your best friends. Keep something like an antacid on hand too. Skip the fast food.

    Thigh injection spot?

What about when there's more fat on the stomach than the thigh area? That's my situation, haven't tried the thigh yet, might just switch it up for this week's dose.

    One year down! Woo!

Amazing, congratulations!! Keep riding that momentum, stay the course! Genuinely proud watching you take care of yourself like this! Cheering you on all the way!

    Don't sleep on yogurt

Plain greek yogurt's been an absolute lifesaver for me. I mix in granola, berries, or nut butter depending on whether I need more protein or fiber that day.

Weight loss stalled by stacking BPC/KPV/TB?

Yep, started with bpc, brought in kpv a little while later, then the tendon peptide after that. Not entirely sure about bpc, kept it capped around half a milligram daily, taking a break from it starting today, planning two to four weeks off. Kpv gives nice effects and settles my stomach...

    Switching between GLP-1 meds

Switching from one GLP-1 to another usually calls for climbing to a bigger dose and waiting quite a while before anything noticeable happens, unless your doctor starts you at an equivalent dose translating from one to the other. Good luck!

Down 76lbs! Feeling like a new me!

76 total while managing through the rough early patch is a genuinely good outcome. The side effect tolerance really does shift over time - what's hard at 3 months often becomes manageable at 6. Going back after losing 10 of 50 was the right call.

Healthy food gross now, junk food ok?

the 'labs are excellent despite not eating perfectly' report is one of the more encouraging data points for people who are struggling to overhaul their diet at the same time as starting - the metabolic improvements from the medication itself drive some of the lab improvements independently of...

Down 80lbs - Diet is KEY!

The calorie-budget approach that allows occasional higher-calorie foods within the daily total is more sustainable long-term than strict restriction - it removes the guilt cycle that tends to create restrict-then-overeat patterns. Protein and fiber first, and the rest fits within what's left.
