    Goal weight: Now what?

The 8-month plateau followed by an unexplained 4-pound shift on the same dose is a pattern more people experience than report - maintenance doses often hold weight effectively without much active loss, and then something shifts in metabolism or body composition without any obvious trigger...

Just started Oz... is this normal?

Zero appetite in the first 48 hours at 0.25mg is a typical strong initial response - it tends to settle after the first week. Forcing down small amounts is the right call; empty stomach raises nausea risk more than anything else early on.

    GHK/BPC weirdness anyone?

That's a heavy concurrent stack. Isolating each compound separately before running all three together is the diagnostic path.

    6 Months On Tirzepatide!

So, if the weight stalls, you just go up? Seems kinda scary. What's the highest dose, anyway?

    6 Months On Tirzepatide!

Great journey! Just wondering, why the dose increase? I'm just trying to learn more about this.

    Fiber a must on GLP-1s?

I've been using a fiber supplement with magnesium, and it seems to be doing the trick.

    Reta Results: Muscle Loss Real?

RileyHub what about protein needs based on muscle fiber type? Weightlifters need more for fast-twitch, but what about endurance people with slow-twitch? Does slow-twitch vs fast-twitch catabolism affect protein needs? Also, 1gm per ideal weight is common when not on Reta. Does Reta change...

    Reta Results: Muscle Loss Real?

When figuring out the "right" protein intake on Reta, how do you do it? 1) Protein per day based on ideal or current weight? 2) How many grams per pound? 3) Does age or exercise type matter?

    Reta Results: Muscle Loss Real?

That sucks, I want a shot that makes me thin AND jacked. I never did a dexa scan so I don't have data but I bet I lost a ton of muscle. I lost weight super quick and didn't lift so I assume it's bad. I still prefer being skinny fat over just fat though.

    Ozempic plateau during perimenopause?

A Yale researcher who is a leading expert on GLP-1s said on Oprah that if you don’t lose weight on a GLP-1, it’s because you have a different type of obesity (obesity is a disease with many types). Here’s the video: https://youtu.be/_GEe8EUTfRk?si=WAoTrXOCh3FGlhGh

    Ozempic plateau during perimenopause?

If you’re maxed out on the dose and still not losing, you might just not be a responder. Switch to Mounjaro or something similar. A lot of us menopausal and perimenopausal women have lost a good chunk of weight on a GLP and are keeping it off.

    Halfway to my goal!

You look awesome in both! I'm a little surprised you qualified for these meds; you don't look that heavy in the before pic? I get the same thing, since I carry my weight in my legs. Congrats on your success!

Down to the 170s on Zep!

My car fits me better now! I'm down about 185 lbs, from like 425. I used to have the seat all the way back and still be squished against the wheel. Now there's a gap! It's the little victories!
