    Sweet Cravings on Reta?

Afternoon sugar cravings on Reta are pretty common even when appetite is suppressed - the sweet craving is more behavioral than hunger-driven. A small protein snack early afternoon often preempts it without changing much else.

Down 70+ lbs, still feels unreal!

Lingering hunger at 1mg is a signal the dose hasn't fully cleared food noise yet - the plateau pattern you're describing often resolves at the next titration step. Body image lag is a separate thing that takes longer than the physical change to catch up.

Brain space: What DO you even THINK about?

The olfactory route argument is the strongest case for intranasal over subq - the BBB question is real even if the placebo component is hard to isolate. Most people who switch to IN report a faster and more distinct cognitive effect, which is consistent enough to be more than placebo.

Clothing sizes are messing w/my head!

Define 'effective'? Been on peptides for weeks now, just added cartalax a month ago. low back pain is way better—not sure if it's this one or something else, but I'll take it either way.

Easing off the dose... anyone else?

Fatigue varies and usually drops after 2 or 3 weeks. I had none and kept my routine — tennis 4 times a week, 90-minute walks, weights 3 times a week. Started at 77 years old. People with bad side effects often do better splitting the dose. Half on day 1, half on day 4. You can split a 0.25...

    Down 50+ lbs, feeling amazing!

Ten pounds since January is solid progress, don't sleep on it. Farm work probably means you're building muscle under the scale. Try measurements instead—body comp shifts before the numbers catch up.

Down 40+ on Sema! My Story

Agree. Wore a CGM before starting, check it now and then. Smart move even at low doses. Reality: most here do 2–3iu, maybe 4iu, not cave-face range. Debate insulin sensitivity at low doses if you want but at least know your morning glucose and how long food takes to drop it after eating carbs.

    Sema vial lasts too long?

been on this for years at max dose, zero issues. just restarted after pregnancy and thought i could go straight back up. felt like trash for 3 days. definitely not doing that again, back to 0.25 for me.

    Kinda slow loss. Anyone else?

I've lost maybe 2kg in 8 weeks, but I'm just now upping to 0.3 mg. I ordered 0.4 mg but I'm going slower. I can't stand feeling sick and weak. Hoping it's better next time. Been craving sweets again, so the medication isn't working as well, but I don't have bad side effects right now, which is good.

    Kinda slow loss. Anyone else?

Most of the stories here are the big wins, which can skew our expectations. Aim for 15% weight loss overall, and you're almost there already. That's a big win already. Keep going! I got about 12% after 8 months. I might need to switch to something stronger later, like mounjaro. But right now...

    Math check for Reta dose?

Hey guys, just saw a thread about reconstituted sermorelin. They are saying to add 2.5ml of bac water to a 5mg vial. Is this similar to what you all are doing with Reta??

    Math check for Reta dose?

Smaller injection volume. I favor larger volumes. Here's why: 1. A more diluted solution might reduce injection site reactions. Usually not a problem with GLP-1s but common with other stuff. 2. Larger volumes are easier to measure accurately. Some dose recommendations require tiny amounts...

    Oral GLP-1 News?

Meh, I don't know how well these will work. I'm sticking with my current plan.... Been with them since summer of '24 and no problems, even through all the shortage BS. Down about 25 lbs and keeping it off for almost a year now. Feel free to use my code for a discount if you want :)

    Oral GLP-1 News?

Wait, isn't Rybelsus already a pill? Is this just a brand name thing, like Ozempic versus Wegovy? Seems kinda pointless for users?

    Ozempic: Size 20 to 10!

I'm still pretty young, which probably helps. I also made sure to drink lots of water and use moisturizer with collagen and vitamin E. I also did some light weight training to try and build some muscle as I lost the weight.
