Success Stories That Keep Us Going

The story behind the result is what makes it stick.

Hang in there, it gets better!

Side effects mellowing out by months 2-3 is the consistent pattern. The first month feels permanent and it usually is not. The research/doctor dynamic is a real tension - some providers are genuinely curious and collaborative, some are not. Finding one in the first group makes the whole process...

    Down 11% - should I stop?

11% is real. The stopping question means different things depending on why - reaching a goal versus cost or access are separate decisions. Weight loss maintenance differs from the T2D case.

Sulfur Burps on Mounjaro / Tirzepatide — What Worked, What Didn't (community guide)

Adding to the dose-bump pattern: every titration step (2.5 to 5, 5 to 7.5, 7.5 to 10) brought sulphur burps back for 2-3 weeks then they leveled. Hydration and avoiding red meat for 3 days post-shot worked best for me each time. Felt frustrating to ride the wave each bump but knowing it was...

    Booze on Semaglutide - anyone?

Your body will prioritize metabolizing alcohol before burning fat, so you're slowing yourself down for a few days. You gotta ask if it's worth it. It's counterproductive. Sure, some people still see results, but you'll lose more weight faster and generally feel better without alcohol.

Lost weight, but don't *look* like it??

I agree with Sassy-Health. Slow and steady wins the race! Less loose skin that way, supposedly. I'm trying to be patient.

Lost weight, but don't *look* like it??

I hardly saw any changes at first, but then, all of a sudden, you really will!

    Booze on Semaglutide - anyone?

No issues here. I actually don't even think about drinking anymore.

Lost weight, but don't *look* like it??

Depending on your starting weight and height, 30 pounds might be a huge loss or not so much. I've lost nearly 45 pounds, and only my neighbor has said anything. A lot of initial weight loss is water. Be patient and keep going; it'll get better!

    Melt fat from my cankles??

The first place I noticed was my neck and butt (which I wasn't measuring!). It happened fast.

    Reta and New Tattoos?

TransformMe, yeah, the dosing is confusing. I started low and slow and titrated up until I felt the effects. Listen to your body!

    Melt fat from my cankles??

Yep, just wait. Cankles *will* diminish. [emoji=wink]

    Reta and New Tattoos?

I had pretty bad skin sensitivity when I increased my dose too fast. It lasted about a month, but it's mostly gone now. It's rare, though - maybe 1 in 10 people get it. I doubt getting a tattoo would make it worse.

    FOX04 vs FOX04-DRI - HUGE Difference!

Just bumping this to say that there was a recent recall on some injectables from a pharmacy. Apparently some of their stuff was out of spec. Just a heads up to be careful out there.

    FOX04 vs FOX04-DRI - HUGE Difference!

You can find the answer if you search around the forum. Some users have shown where to find that vendor. There are also some tips to avoid fake groups. I'm not trying to be annoying, just following the forum rules. I'd DM you, but I don't want to start a bunch of DMs when the info is already...
