What calorie cutbacks are you doing?

dairy, gluten, soy, eggs, refined sugar — those were my biggest inflammation culprits. i couldn't understand the night pain till i cut them. my joints hurt so bad i couldn't work. aip made a huge difference. turns out living in pain wasn't just 'how it is.'

    Ozempic success...now what?

Started w/ a goal of 225 but adjusted it multiple times til i felt happy and healthy. don't lock in a number right away — you've got room to figure it out as you go. sounds like you're doing amazing!

    Life changing meds!

How do you all define goal weight versus ideal weight? I'm 180cm, 104kg now. Ideal says 71kg but that's 33kg down from start and seems huge. Should I aim for a compromise like 80kg or push to ideal? What's realistic?

Lost weight, but don't *look* like it??

It won't be obvious until you've lost around 20% of your starting weight. But keep measuring because sometimes the scale stays the same, but inches come off.

    GLP-1 Feelings - Day 3!

that can feel like low blood sugar or dehydration on GLP-1s. track timing, what you ate the night before, fluids for a week, then share the pattern with your prescriber.

Lost weight, but don't *look* like it??

The more you weigh, the more you have to lose before it's visually obvious. Happened to me too. Once you get to a certain point, the losses are way more noticeable. Don't give up hope! The scale is proof it's working, even if you can't see it yet.

My real weight loss experience with GLP-1s

Keep it up! Some people are able to lose the weight, but the real trick is keeping it off after you stop the meds. Are you thinking about a long term strategy?

    Halfway There! Woot!

peptides keep forever but syringes, bac, wipes don't last long. at 40 next month, if this stuff's still around i gotta figure out social security before i order more.

    Best place for bac water?

If you're using 31 gauge needles, good luck. 30 gauge or bigger should handle it. not worried about air in BAC water—more air just means more oxygen for benzoic acid to oxidize over time.

Just started Oz... is this normal?

Also, prioritize sleep as much as possible. Sometimes the indigestion and nausea make it difficult but good sleep is critical for hormone regulation and metabolism. If I have a bad night, I have no shame taking a 30-45 minute nap during the day.

Just started Oz... is this normal?

Metformin and Ozempic often go together. It's even being researched for longevity. Prioritize protein and fiber. Focus on eating healthy, and the meds will do their job. I feel the same way – I know I'm hungry, but nothing appeals to me. Often, I just don't eat anything. Then the weight falls off.
