Doing 7 milligrams every other day before the gym and I can feel it stacking up between shots even with the short window. Week five of eight and it's performing well - second best I've tried. Dosing slow and steady gets talked about in videos but the rush temptation is real.
One week on the Rybelsus and I'm four pounds lighter. No bad effects to report. Just feel like I'm not as hungry. Upping my walks, keeping the water coming, and I'm making better food choices. I know it won't always be this dramatic, but even a pound a week is great!
It probably wasn't compounded correctly, without the right binders to get past stomach acid. The Viking one is getting close to injectable tirz numbers, so they must have figured out how to bypass that.
I saw a rumor that Eli Lilly's GGG Tri-Agonist III in phase 1 might be oral. Other orals I know about:
Viking Therapeutics oral vk2735 phase 2 blew away current orals (oral tirzepatide) -- 12% weight loss in 13 weeks vs 72 weeks for orfo. Phase 3 just started.
Astra Zenica has a GLP-1 daily...
The more the better. It's good that these meds are becoming more accessible to folks who don't like shots. Retatrutide is still the best, but this is a step forward.
It's crazy how insurance works. My plan only covers certain weight loss meds if I have type 2 diabetes. Otherwise, it's all out of pocket. Compounded sema might be the way to go, like others said.
Could you pay out-of-pocket for a bit just to taper off the medication? Insurance should really cover it, but it might be worth it to avoid stopping abruptly.
