    Down a Shirt Size!

230 to 150 in 18 months at 0.5mg twice a week is a strong result at a conservative dose - twice-weekly at that level is an unusual split, and the outcome argues against changing anything that's clearly working.

Down 37 pounds in 4 months!

37 in 4 months at 3.5mg while the person next to you is down 140 over 15 months - different timelines, both strong responses. The A1c improvement alongside the weight is the marker that's harder to fake and more important for long-term metabolic health.

A year of weight loss shots!

A year on 5mg from 113kg down 20kg is a solid result. The timeline matters less than the direction.

Reta plateau at week 10 - dose up?

Reading this reddit thread about slow losers is making me feel better. I've only lost a few pounds. Some people are only losing like 2-3lbs a month!

Reta plateau at week 10 - dose up?

Two weeks isn't a stall. Your body is getting used to the new weight. You lost weight fast. But you're on a low dose, so you have room to go up.

Reta plateau at week 10 - dose up?

That's a HUGE loss for such a low dose! Amazing work!! I'm also starting low and not seeing those kinds of results. About a month in and I've only lost like 3 or 4 lbs.

    GLP-1 Progress: May '25 to Jan '26

Thanks, everyone! To answer a few questions: I think I saw the most significant changes around 5mg. Right now, I'm on 7.5 and maintaining. And yes, King, I did buy the second dress! I felt so good in it, I just had to!

    GLP-1 Progress: May '25 to Jan '26

I believe I might have actually been a pound or two heavier in July of 2025, but this May photo is the only one I could find of me in a similar outfit. It really highlights the difference over time!

    Sweet Cravings on Reta?

Thanks, King. I'm definitely trying to be patient. It's just odd since the cravings began AFTER starting the medication, not before. I'll keep monitoring and maybe try some low-sugar alternatives in the afternoons.

    Sweet Cravings on Reta?

Thanks everyone for responding! It's a little strange because I really didn't crave sugar much before starting Reta. I mean, occasionally, sure, but it seems worse now.

    Sweet Cravings on Reta?

So, I'm taking 2mg of reta every four days. I've been on this dose for a few weeks, and it's definitely helping with my appetite and making me feel full. But lately, I've noticed I'm getting these little sugar cravings in the afternoons. It's like, I really want a cookie, just one. Then I'm...
