They just don't get it, do they?

The cravings issue is biochemical, not willpower. Once the signaling changes, food just stops being interesting. I had zero effect for weeks, then something shifted. Just keep protein and calories tracked - the suppression can mask deficits before you notice them.

Shot day and progress tracker recs?

I am religious about using my Shotsy app for tracking but last week I had a total brain fart. I take 2mg from a 4mg pen. I completely lost track and I think I gave myself an extra 1mg dose. I'm gonna be glued to the toilet all week. Learn from my mistake people!

Shot day and progress tracker recs?

I do mine on Friday mornings now so I don't need a pen if I have a weekend trip planned. I haven't noticed a difference in side effects based on the day, so I just stick with the day I got my first script.

Brain space: What DO you even THINK about?

After a month you'll realize how much food sits in your fridge because you're barely eating. Start freezing stuff. Grab protein shakes for the days when eating feels impossible.

Shot day and progress tracker recs?

I pin on Thursday evenings. Seems like any side effects pop up Saturday or Sunday for me. I use an app called Shotsy to track everything.

    Cheaper Tirz in CA?

Check out APS Pharmacy. I know someone who has been using them for years for HCG, test, and other stuff. They said their prices are pretty good and they ship to most states. They even toured the facilities and were impressed. They said if you email them, mention you were referred from the other...

    Cheaper Tirz in CA?

FYI, Pomegranate went through some drama on Reddit. Their vendor site got hacked and then a moderator (who wasn't an employee) leaked personal info on the subreddit.

    Cheaper Tirz in CA?

LavenderSky is known to be good, but pricier. I've heard Big Easy is very active on Reddit and has great customer service, especially if she needs guidance. One of the cheaper options for bigger doses is Pomegranate health. Lower price, lower service, but it got the job done for me. As...

This med's a total game changer!

One year on semaglutide and I'm down over 100 pounds! Started at 325, now I'm 219. It hasn't always been easy. But, remembering to put my health first was everything.

    Energy drink fiends on Ozempic?

I think it's really common to replace one unhealthy coping mechanism with another. I've been dealing with my cravings by learning how to regulate my emotional responses and finding healthy replacements for bad habits.

This med's a total game changer!

Congratulations!! Same here!! Plus drastically improved kidney function. It's a life-saving miracle drug. It’s a pity that we can't get it covered by insurance when it helps with so many medical problems

    GLP-1s: Long-term worry?

I read a post that scared me a bit. Someone said they have been on these meds for five years and they are gaining again. Plus the side effects are getting worse. I am definitely going to ask about switching to something else to prevent this.

    Energy drink fiends on Ozempic?

I've noticed that I'm drinking less coffee without even trying.

    GLP-1 Noob - Stalling?

GLP-1 meds seem to affect diabetics differently. They address internal system imbalances first, which it sounds like you've seen with your A1C and blood labs. (Big congrats on those improvements!) Mine are still a work in progress, lol. Once your body is more balanced, and your insulin...

This med's a total game changer!

Thanks for a great post. I agree! I also saw some research today looking at cancer and GLPs and it seemed quite positive. It'll have downsides -- but I'm thinking these drug companies are on the right track. All the best!
