8 weeks on MJ with 6.5kg and going slow is the sustainable pace that the faster-losing posts don't often represent - the medication working at a measured rate is a real response, not a slow response. The 25 more pounds from 202 to 177 is a good arc at any rate, and slow tends to hold better in...
The chair moment is one of the most vivid markers people describe. A year at 7.5mg from 215 to 155 with type 2 resolved is the full picture - the medication keeping the metabolic side in check while the pounds came off is how the design is supposed to work. The non-scale victories accumulate...
Been on semaglutide almost a year now and dropped almost 70 pounds. Getting close to maintenance weight. I want to stay on it because it actually changed how I think about food—huge deal since I used to have disordered eating. Anyone else maintaining on it? What dose are you on?
what do dexa scans tell people that matters? i'm planning to get one at a certain weight to figure out when to shift to maintenance, but curious what others look for.
saw a study about stop-and-start cycles with these meds. basically once you pause and restart, your body builds resistance and doesn't respond the same way. so if you're on it, consistency is everything. can't just take breaks and expect the same results.
It's the absolute best. Stopped obsessing about good or bad food. Eat what I want, just not much of it. Had a half bagel with whitefish salad this morning because I wanted it. No internal debate about eating the whole thing. It's freeing.
Been on 50 units sema for about 20 months. Hit my goal weight after a year and kept the full dose for 8 more months with no more loss. I'm 70, 5'10", started at 260, now at 195 and holding. Still overweight by the charts so I'm surprised it's stayed so flat for months. Maintenance dose same as...
vendor bac is fine. never seen a sealed 10 ml vial spoil before opening. quality's all over the place though. overseas peptides and bac - I don't assume they're sterile just on faith, same as dollar tree vitamins. more documented baby formula deaths recently than clear harm from bac.
was pretty set on starting this a few days ago but the more i read the more unsure i am. seemed simple at first but there's like a bunch of different routes. insurance vs online vs all these different ways people do it. not sure what matters once you're a few months in. might be overthinking but...
The first-dose quiet is on the early end of the response curve - most people hit it at dose 2-3 rather than dose 1. The ones who feel it immediately tend to be the stronger responders overall, and the effect usually deepens through the first month. Worth noting whether it correlates with...
Looked back at old pics today. Started at 134kg, got down to 124kg on my own, broke my foot, back to 128, now at 117. On this med since late February at 5mg, barely any sides. This community is solid.
