I just saw on Reddit that some people get a corticosteroid before or after iron IVs. I'm anxious, so I would NEVER do IVs outside of a medical setting (with crash cart, anaphylaxis meds, many people, monitoring, etc). Like, no med spas, but they offer iron IVs. Here's some info on iron infusion...
