    GLP-1: Long term commitment?

The insulin resistance distinction drives the long-term commitment calculus - if the underlying driver is insulin resistance or Type 2 diabetes, stopping reactivates the condition and the weight returns. For people without metabolic comorbidities, the question becomes whether the drug is doing...

GLP-1 Muscle Loss: Should We Worry?

The protein anxiety in week one is a real overcorrection - the GLP-1 is already doing the muscle-preservation work by reducing the caloric deficit severity rather than going into starvation mode. 100g protein and 25g fiber is actually a solid target, but all-protein-all-the-time will cause the...

    Goal weight: Now what?

The size shift is a reliable marker when the scale number feels abstract - going from XL to a smaller size is the body-composition piece the scale doesn't capture alone. Maintenance is its own calibration phase: finding the lowest dose that holds the result, watching where hunger baseline...

    Down 130lbs... still going!

That's incredible progress! You're doing it the right way with the gradual changes. I've been on this for about 5 months now and I've only lost 8 pounds, but I've definitely noticed a change in my appetite and cravings.

    Down 8 stone! Feeling amazing!

food noise came back for me on 5mg mid-week. switched my shot to fridays and added a 500mcg bump tuesday, really helps keep levels more stable instead of spiking and dropping off. might bump that tuesday dose to 1mg if needed. keeps things more even than just doing one dose a week.

    GLP-1 online recs?

I'm on the same type of service. I’m four months in, and it's been really good so far. I paid for six months upfront at about $200 a month.

Hair falling out on Zepbound :(

Update on my own hair: I'm starting to feel more confident showing my face without makeup now too. I think it's from losing weight and just generally feeling better about myself. Totally agree!

    Vitamin stack while on GLP-1s?

I'm older so I dont like to cook that much, but I've found a good breakfast. I have a yogurt and kefir mix that I make in advance. It has Greek yogurt, kefir, chia seeds, flax, and frozen blueberries. I let it sit overnight and it is good for a few days. Lots of protein and fiber. It's sweet...

Hair falling out on Zepbound :(

I've had some thinning too, but I don't think it's necessarily the drug itself. It's probably the rapid weight loss causing it. Now that I'm at my target weight and maintaining, the shedding seems to be slowing down. It should get better, try not to stress.

    Vitamin stack while on GLP-1s?

My magnesium always comes back low on tests, so I take different kinds of magnesium. Mostly citrate, sometimes glycinate. Since I'm plant-based, I take a B12. Vitamin D once a week when it's winter. Multivitamin when I remember to. I also just added biotin because I've been reading about...

GLP-1: Eating less, still no scale movement

Maybe look at switching to a different medication?

GLP-1: Eating less, still no scale movement

Maybe try tracking your macros for a few days? See if you're getting enough protein. If you're below 1 gram of protein per kilogram of body weight, try boosting it, especially in the morning! Also, even though fruit is good, too much can be a problem. Watch out for getting a lot of calories from...
