Sema almost a year 30+ down

210 to 178 on sema and holding after stopping is a solid result - the gym maintaining the loss without the medication is the behavior side of the equation working. The 15-20 you're still after becomes a lot more achievable with the muscle base you're building.

First Ozempic dose - I'm stoked!

The first dose excitement is real and tends to be followed by a lot of patience - the suppression usually builds over the first 4-6 weeks rather than hitting all at once. Starting the meal prep habit early like you mentioned puts you ahead of most people who start without it.

Lost weight, but don't *look* like it??

The visual lag at 30 pounds is real and nearly universal - the change shows to others before it registers for the person living it.

    GLP-1s and...digestive aids?

Sema changed my life, sharing my story!

Honestly it was trial and error. Small meals, avoiding greasy foods, and staying hydrated helped some. Ginger ale was my best friend in the beginning! Also, my doctor prescribed something for the nausea which was a lifesaver.

Sema changed my life, sharing my story!

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my journey in case it helps anyone else who is just starting out or feeling discouraged. I'm 25 and began taking a GLP-1 med back in February, so about 9 months ago. I have PCOS and my weight was spiraling out of control. I was really hesitant to start this...

I wish I could start, but the cost is insane. I'm at 180 lbs and really want to get down to 145. You all are so inspiring!
