The transition window from tirz to reta is where most people underestimate the starting dose - going in too low means several weeks before any signal on weight while the system adjusts.
The question is what stopping actually costs. For most people the weight comes back. The medication was designed for long-term use, not as a short-term fix.
It improves! I was in the same boat. The first week was the worst. Slowly reintroduce foods in small amounts during weeks 2 and 3. By week 4, you should be able to eat more normally (except for greasy, fried, or very fatty/sugary foods. Those still don't sit well with me and probably never will...

Anyone have advice on spacing out doses for maintenance? I've dropped around 95lbs since January. Switching to paying out of pocket so trying to make it last.
That's great that you've begun! You don't have to tell anyone. It really isn't their concern, and some people simply don't want to know every detail. Do people announce they need new glasses? It's similar. Keep it private.
