    Reta noob - dosing questions

I'm about to split my reta dose. I've tried 4mg twice and the sides wreck me (bloating, sulfur burps, unhappy tummy). Next up is 2mg on Friday and Tuesday for several weeks. A single 3mg shot goes fine, but 4mg at once makes my body refuse.

    Reta working TOO well?

Everyone's different. I inject once weekly, and 1mg a week took 30lbs off me across 8 weeks. Stopped for a month, restarted 2 weeks ago, down 6lbs. Before starting I'd spent four months on carnivore and dropped 20 to 25lbs, meaning I began Reta already eating well. I haven't seen it fade after...

Switching meds - Reta + Tirz?

I added reta slowly, each step 3-4 weeks: began at .5 reta with 7.5 tirz, then cut tirz to 5mg and raised reta to 1mg, and so on. One day of nausea after the first reta dose, nothing since.

Reta - push to 4mg or stick to 3?

Hello! Only about five pounds off on the scale by week eight on Reta, is that normal? I'm on 4 mg weekly. My body shape seems to have changed and I feel like I'm losing fat, yet the scale torments me! Please reassure me! lol. My team keeps saying be patient, it takes time, but jeez... No food...

Can you add more bac water to an already-mixed vial?

Yes, I used ordinary bacteriostatic water. I'd add .5 to 1ml on top of the existing solution, depending on my dose, the total mg in the vial, and the units I wanted in each syringe. A reconstitution calculator did the math, plenty exist. I think I ruined one pen out of 100 by pressing the button...

Hit my goal weight after 16 mos!

I'm on 5 mg and don't need to lose more, but my sugar's still around 150. Congrats on reaching goal weight!

    GLP-1 shots every 5 or 6 days?

Same reason here, I take mine every 5 days, though just 2.5mg. Only three months in so far.

    Reta's making me HUNGRY??

Hunger was up for me too in the first couple weeks, right alongside the weight loss and the quiet in my head about food. I went up slow. These days the hunger is way down and I'm not chewing on food thoughts all day, what a relief. I'm running 1.5mg three times a week and sit just a couple kilos...

Ozempic 1mg to 2mg: Jump or Split?

Depends why you're on Ozempic. T2D patients usually reach 1 mg or more, based on A1c. Weight loss patients should stay at an effective dose only while the weight keeps dropping. Cardiovascular patients follow their cardiologist. Physicians set doses, but patients should give input based on...

    Reta makin' me needle shy?

Yep, same experience, and not the temperature, and I hadn't lost enough to reach muscle. For the first months I barely felt the needle, now every stick is sharp, intense pain. No idea why. I asked the same thing and never got a satisfying answer, so at least you know you're not alone!

Dropped my Tirz... Am I screwed?

Lyophilized peptides can take some abuse, I think. If the vials are intact you should be fine.

FDA cracking down on compound GLP-1s?

Since the government clampdown some months back, most US online listings call semaglutide 'GLP-1' or so, tirzepatide 'GLP-2', and retatrutide stays retatrutide (there's no 'GLP-3'). It isn't about the actual GLP-2 peptide.

    Ozempic making anyone else emotional?

Yep. Its not only the coffee, nothing feels good on Ozempic. Worse with antidepressants on board. My brain fog was awful, I couldnt think straight and honestly felt zero pleasure. Booze did nothing, coffee did nothing. I dropped my hobbies, got miserable and low. Then I started tapering, now at...

    Sweet Cravings on Reta?

Nothing is off limits for me at 6mg reta, no nausea, no runs. I just crave far less of it, and I steer toward healthy stuff, because the whole point is my health.

    MJ kicking fatigue's BUTT!

More protein helped my fatigue. Mine was rough somewhere from 7.5 through 12.5. You're not at therapeutic levels yet, you'll likely adjust by weeks 8-9.
