    Still hungry on week 2?

Second-week hunger at the starting dose is normal - the first week's effect is partly initial response, and real suppression builds gradually as the dose increases.

    Reta and my sobriety?!

Ten clean years and adding this work on top - those changes compound.

    Ozempic success!

Lean protein plus fiber is the most reliable combination for satiety on GLP-1. The consistency of eating the same meal removes the decision overhead that usually leads to overeating.

Sulfur Burps on Mounjaro / Tirzepatide — What Worked, What Didn't (community guide)

Adding to the food-trigger list — for me eggs the night before a shot were the worst burp trigger. Once I cut them out two days around shot day, the sulfur burps dropped from daily to maybe once a month. Took me four months of trial and error to figure that out, hoping this saves someone the time.

Anyone lose on the baby doses?

Lost 28 lbs at 0.25mg over 4 months. My doc was ready to bump me up but I felt fine and the scale was moving so we held. Eventually the appetite suppression weakened and I went up, but the slow start meant zero side effects until 1.0mg. If your insurance covers extending baby doses, it can be a...

    Week 1 on GLP-1 - anyone else?

Exactly right. The med helps you eat in moderation but the second you stop, that control drops. You have to actually fix your eating habits while on it—move from food-for-taste to food-for-fuel. Harder than it sounds but absolutely necessary.

    Sulphur Burps From Heck!

Well, now I'm a little scared about dose increases. Oh joy. Anyone know if the sulphur burps eventually subside after a dose increase?

    No appetite - force feed?

When I went from .25 to .5 I had to force myself. My stomach hurt no matter what I ate. Nothing looked good and cooking was out of the question. After the first .5 dose, I went back to .25, but it didn't help much. I haven't dosed in two weeks, and I can cook/eat again. Seeing my doc next week...

    Sulphur Burps From Heck!

Okay, product idea/3D print idea: A small cylinder, a bit bigger than your mouth, so it seals around your mouth. Inside? A carbon filter. Burp into the cylinder, then blow the burp and some extra air *through* the filter. Filter catches all the stink - problem solved. Portable, too!

    No appetite - force feed?

I'm on 1 mg and the cravings are back. I was at 160, now 170. I don't overeat, just eat junk and skip exercise. I’m my worst enemy.

Anyone else keeping it a secret?

Has anyone else felt really down? I've lost a lot in the last couple of months, which is great, but I'm also super tired and nothing feels good. I'm on vacation in a beautiful place, and I don't even care. Is this normal?

Anyone else keeping it a secret?

Would you announce you started new BP meds? I don't see a reason to share your medication history unless someone's directly involved in your care; it's not their business.

    Sulphur Burps From Heck!

Okay, so here's the story. I'm starting week 3 at 0.5mg, and hadn't had any bad side effects, fingers crossed. Then, bam, last night happened. I'm usually not burpy AT ALL. Last night as I went to snuggle with my fiance, I let loose the vilest, most sulfurous burp of my life, right in his face...

This... is just awful. Does it get better?!

Just offering moral support... I feel pretty awful but if I force myself to eat something in the morning it's better. Thanks for the other advice people! Like splitting doses. What needles should I get for the blue pen from Novo Nordisk?
