Losing a golf-ball of hair every wash - anyone found something that helps?

49F here. I began Mounjaro in January at 100.5 kg (221 lbs) and I'm at 72.3 kg (159 lbs) now, which I'm thrilled about. The hair is another story. For a month now every wash and every brushing pulls out a clump about the size of a golf ball. People say this is normal on these meds and I get that...

    Down 20lbs this month! Woot!

Just one month in and already down 17 pounds. Expecting the pace to slow during month two, but feeling great about where things stand so far.

    Holy cow, it WORKED!

In maintenance mode now, so nothing especially thrilling going on. Back when I was actively losing and watching the scale keep dropping though, absolutely, I was thrilled. After literally decades battling my weight, I'd finally found something that genuinely worked.

    Pre-filled carts: Worth the risk?

Combining other peptides together in one vial alongside this drug class? Hard pass on that. Pre-loading syringes ahead of time? Also a hard pass. But drawing several different peptides, including this drug class, into a single syringe and injecting them right away? Probably fine. Nothing's...

Tirz vs Sema for mental health?

Tried both, fatigue was brutal on sema even at just 1mg and I barely lost anything. Tirz has been way better for me. Fewer side effects and the weight just came off.

    Mounjaro's totally changed my life!

Congrats! You'll feel so much better being off those diabetic pills now that you're on Mounjaro. Great news!

    Cagri side effects vary?

Been wondering if something shifted with the compound itself lately. Maybe a reformulation or batch change happened somewhere.

    Hit my goal, still losing?!

Sure thing. Been on it a full year and I'm just now getting up to 2mg. Yes, the goal here is dropping pounds. Taking my time with it, as they say.

    Scale Obsessed? 😂

Somebody in this thread pointed me toward Happy Scale. Liking it so far since I weigh in daily, makes seeing the actual trend way more reassuring than spiraling over every little daily bounce on the scale.

    Switching from Tirzepatide to Semaglutide

Just started at 15mg. Weight loss has come slower than I expected. Even so I'm planning to switch over to sema for cost reasons, way cheaper. Curious to see how that goes for me too.

When did food noise quiet down for you?

Yeah, I'd say worth trying honestly. Sounds like constant food thoughts are the real struggle, and this medication tends to quiet that down completely. Give it a couple months and see how things shift.
