Fine to stay on a low dose?

Getting labs before any dose decision is the right move. The BP medication adjustment is one of the clearest downstream signals - most people need less over time. Low dose staying effective is exactly what the Jastreboff data shows is possible.

4 Months In: See a difference?

Four months in is when the changes start reading as transformation rather than just progress. The Cagri non-responder experience is real - enough people report the same thing that it is not placebo. You know more about your response now than any clinical summary would tell you.

Finally did it! My first dose!

First dose is the best - all the hope, none of the side effect experience. The adjustment phase has a real end point. Most people are through the rough part within 2-4 weeks of each step.

    Ozempic: Not a Magic Bullet?

Omeprazole long-term helps if you take it steady. Pepto settles it in 10 min if you need quick relief. High carbs and high sulfur foods trigger mine. Watch the heartburn though—aspirated once and it was not fun.

    Electrolyte drink mix faves?

I recently switched to Redmond Relyte. It costs half the amount of LMNT, tastes just as good and uses Redmond real mineral salt instead of processed sodium chloride. Watermelon lime is excellent.

    Ugh, these side effects!

I've heard others mention that chia seeds can be helpful for regularity too. I guess the high fiber content makes a difference. I might give that a try if the digestive enzymes stop working as well.

    Electrolyte drink mix faves?

Zipfizz for me. I believe I get enough sodium from meals, and I don't need excess in a drink. The other nutrients and electrolytes in it are beneficial.

    Ugh, these side effects!

I started taking a digestive enzyme with meals, and it's helped me a lot.

    Low libido on GLP-1s?

Good point FunkyDad433. Diet and exercise impacts everything.

    Low libido on GLP-1s?

The key is to maintain muscle mass through adequate protein intake, focus on cardiovascular fitness, and get your hormone levels checked. It's not gone forever; these things can help bring it back.

    Hunger's Back?!

I think it's a mix of things - the slightly higher dose, getting back to working out often (needing more fuel), and winter. Plus, building muscle helps your metabolism, so that might be part of it too.

    Hunger's Back?!

I'm about a year in, down 100+ lbs, but still have another 18-20 to go to reach my goal. Still carrying a good amount of body fat, though. I made a mistake a few weeks ago and took slightly more than my usual 5mg dose (it was early, and I didn't count the clicks right). I've gone back to 5mg...

    Low libido on GLP-1s?

    Yup, having the same issue.

    GLP-1 meds: conflicting advice. Help!

It's not cool for a doctor to shame you like that. You can always find a new one! I've fired doctors before. There are plenty of better ones out there. Seems some of these doctors are uneducated on newer treatments.
