    Let’s talk tirzepatide side effects

65 pounds with proper research and medical oversight is the right approach. Side effects on tirzepatide are real and dose-dependent - research before starting makes them far more manageable.

    Loose skin party 🎉

The lifting advice is correct. Muscle volume underneath determines how much the skin has to drape over, so building while losing is more effective than addressing skin after the fact.

    Mounjaro: One year later!

The yogurt approach at the start of dose escalation is underrated. Live cultures are gentle enough to add at week one, and building the gut microbiome before the GI stress arrives works better than managing symptoms after. One year without digestive distress from a cup of yogurt is a strong result.

    Weird body changes on GLP-1s?

Yeah, I think "Ozempic face" is just a dramatic way of saying you lost weight quickly. I've seen people say the same thing about the keto diet. Just genetics and how your face loses fat, I guess.

    Weird body changes on GLP-1s?

Eyes bigger, but nose bigger too :( I guess the fat cheeks made my nose look smaller before. Also, loose skin in weird places like my forearms??? Good stuff: Sharp jawline, better legs, collarbones, and my bra band size went down but not my cup size, so the girls look perkier, lol.

    Weird body changes on GLP-1s?

I'm seeing bones in my hands and feet I never knew I had. It's a little spooky, not gonna lie, but I'll take it!

    Weight loss stalled. Help!

Did you calculate your TDEE? Maybe you're not eating *enough* calories?? If you're losing 0.5% to 1% of your body weight each week, you're on track! Don't rush it!

    Still hungry on week 2?

Thanks everyone for the tips! I'll definitely focus on increasing my water and electrolytes. I'm already aiming for about 70g of protein, but maybe I need even more. I hope my body regulates soon.

9 months on Wegovy - my journey!

That's awesome! Keep it up! And remember, body dysmorphia is real. Take progress pictures and compare them. Sometimes it's hard to see changes in yourself.

    Weight loss stalled. Help!

Weight loss isn't always a straight line. Stalls can happen for weeks or even months, even when you're at a higher weight. Recalculate your TDEE every 10 pounds or so. A couple of treat days won't hurt you, especially if you're still eating less calories than your TDEE. Be patient. Also, make...

    Still hungry on week 2?

I'm a little worried. Today is the first day of my second week, and I feel hungry all the time, no matter how substantial my meals are. It's not nausea. My body craves more food, but I don't have the mental desire to eat after a meal because I know I shouldn't be hungry. Week one was constant...

9 months on Wegovy - my journey!

Congrats on nine months! It's a huge achievement. For those experiencing fatigue or dizziness, it's often about electrolyte balance and protein intake. Semaglutide can really mess with that. Hydrate intentionally, add electrolytes (sodium, magnesium, potassium). I use unflavored electrolyte...

    Not seeing much progress...advice?

I saw someone on another forum say they were on 1 mg for almost a year and hadn't lost anything, but they also admitted they were getting into edibles. The advice they got was pretty blunt: you still have to put in the work! Cutting out the edibles was key for them.

    Not seeing much progress...advice?

You aren't failing. Those starter doses are just that: starter doses. It's to get your system used to the medication. A lot of people don't get real appetite suppression until they get to .6 or even 1.2. Give it a few more weeks before you worry. It sounds like you're doing this pretty much...
