    Scale's moving again - weigh-in question...

The week-plus stall before a whoosh is the pattern working correctly - the body retains water during fat loss and releases it in a batch. Waiting through the stall is the only mechanism.

    Rybelsus - one week in!

First week momentum on oral sema is real - the weeks after water weight clears are where the actual pattern emerges.

    Trouble with refillable injection pens?

On this since January, just started my second 2mg pen Tuesday. Since the new pen, side effects are brutal—for 2 days straight after the shot I can't eat without agonizing stomach pain, bloating, sulfuric burps, diarrhea, vomiting. Barely losing weight for the pain. If this keeps up I'm done.

Brain not catching up with weight loss?

Our brains are weird. You've made real progress, even if you can't see it. Pictures from different angles can help. It might be a psychological thing, in which case a therapist who specializes in body image could be a big help. You're doing great!

Down 110lbs in 6 months! Pics!

started 2mg a week at 236, got down to 224 pretty quick. week 4 had to back off the dose and nothing moved, but honestly prob just bloat from training. numbers get weird day to day anyway.

Brain not catching up with weight loss?

Keep taking photos, especially from the side. It's hard to see changes day by day because they're gradual. Side-by-side pictures really show it. And remember, you're healthier now, and that's the most important thing.

Still losing on Wegovy after a year!

slower loss is legit. the scary side effects come from dropping too fast. i'm on the pill too and tracking calories hard - that's what's driving my loss right now, not the med until i hit higher doses.

Calories on GLP-1s - what's your daily intake?

that explanation about food noise and seeking behavior hits different. the bacon example especially - those old habits and cravings are so automatic. good to hear how much quieter the constant wanting became for you.

    GLP-1s got me burpin'!

GLP-1 burping is slowed gastric emptying trapping air - the reclining pattern is the reflux side of the same mechanism. Smaller meals and slower eating cut it significantly for most people.

That's what I'm worried about. Thanks for the info!

    Ozempic Cost - Ouch!

That's wild! I can't believe how expensive it is here. In Germany, a month's supply costs about $100, and two months cost $200, which I already thought was a lot.

Starting Reta - First Week Results?

I wouldn't pay too much attention to weight loss or effects until you're past week 4. Then you'll know what you have and if you need to adjust. Keep losing weight and don't titrate up until you plateau. Not a sprint.

    Ozempic Cost - Ouch!

My physician just recommended Ozempic. Tried to get the script filled, and my insurance wants almost a grand. Checked the official Ozempic site for a discount card. With it, the price only dropped to about $870. That's way over my budget. Any advice on how to lower the cost?
