    So nervous to start sema!

Taking it when you have some footing is smarter than rushing - the nerves before the first shot are completely normal and settle fast.

    Belly Fat Blues on Mounjaro

Visceral belly fat is typically the last reservoir to clear even at lower overall weights - the pattern of where fat mobilizes last is heavily individual and some people at 97 pounds lost still carry that lower layer because the body holds it as a late-stage energy reserve.

Down 30+ lbs in ~4 months!

Month 5 GI trouble after strong early results is the volume-reduction lag - the gut has been eating less for months and sometimes protests. Smaller, more frequent meals tend to help more than eating less per sitting.

    GLP-1 kicking my butt...

dropped 43% of my body weight, down the last 10 lbs now. 225 to 128 in about 20 months, slow and steady. had to restart a couple times because my body doesn't handle big jumps. still under 5mg, moving up 5-10 units a month. weight loss slowed like expected but i'm pretty sure i'll hit my goal.

    Battling the Nausea Rollercoaster

Two months in on sema and haven't had any nausea or vomiting yet. Upped my dose and still nothing. Might be eating cleaner now and I take it at night before bed, which I read helps avoid nausea. Feeling lucky it's smooth so far and hoping it stays this way.

    Under 200lbs in 7 weeks!

Published studies show oral Wegovy averages 16.6% loss and the other option about 11.2%. Separate trials. There's another study on some newer ones showing different results too. So yeah, oral version wins on paper.

    Down 93kg... Now what?!

I saw someone on Reddit who lost nearly 60kg in 6 months. Their doctor said it literally changed their life, and now they're as healthy as a normal 30-year-old. Amazing! They went from a size 5XL to 2XL!

    Switching between GLP-1 meds

Great info. I was in a trial for tirzepatide and my A1c dropped from diabetic range to basically normal. When I had to stop, my sugars climbed fast. People underestimate how powerful these are for blood glucose, not just weight. Switching is not just cosmetic, it can be metabolic survival for...

    GLP-1 woes... what next?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I am going to try to max out on Tirz, maybe 12,5mg, if that does not work, I am going to try sema (after doing some research about the side effects. I think I am going to start tracking my macros and doing some light exercise.

    GLP-1 woes... what next?

I haven't tried sema yet. I'm a little scared to try it because I had a bad experience with cagri. My BMI is 29. I'm thinking of trying tirz again, but slowly this time.

    GLP-1 woes... what next?

So, I started with tirzepatide, got up to 10mg, but didn't really drop any weight. I was super tired all the time. Then I moved to reta, also at 10mg, and didn't lose weight, but at least I felt okay. Now trying cagrilintide, and it's making me feel down. I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?

    Tirzepatide with Glycine?

I think pinning it is better. Here's what some AI thingy says: Oral glutathione doesn't absorb well 'cause your stomach breaks it down. Some studies say it can raise blood levels a little, but not enough to matter. Liposomal or sublingual might work better, or injecting it. Enzymes eat it up...
