    Upping dose, still lazy!

Down 35 lbs since March and working out twice a day is the version where the medication cleared enough space to actually want to move. The OP feeling great but not yet hitting the gym is a different but equally valid stage. The lazy feeling on these meds sometimes resolves when the dose goes up...

    Down 36lbs - can't believe it!

190 to 154 with 20 more to the goal is where the rate slows and the photo log becomes the most useful tool.

    Hunger's Back?!

Hunger returning at a year usually means receptor adaptation - most people adjust dose or interval at that point.

    Tirzepatide and wicked acid reflux?

The acid reflux follows gastric motility slowing - delayed emptying means food and acid sit longer in the stomach, especially lying down. Eating earlier and elevating the head are the two adjustments most people use.

    Spacing out doses?

I tried spacing my doses out to every 10 days gradually, and I ended up developing a tolerance and gaining some weight back. Going back to every 7 days and increasing my dose a little helped me lose the weight again.

Ozempic costs more than my car payment!

Doesn't make sense—they're supposedly the same drug but Wegovy's not touching me. Lost over 20 on Ozempic but insurance wouldn't cover it. Switched to Wegovy, started at 1.7 since I'd done 1mg Ozempic, now at 2.4. Nothing. Not hungry, not overeating, just disappointed.

    Ozempic fridge check: Week 2

When it gets too cold your needle runs super slow. Check fridge temp and maybe pull the pen out 30 mins before injecting.

    Down 50 pounds woah!

Down 111 lbs and it's been wild. The good stuff: totally different relationship with clothes now, flying is way easier on my body, all my markers are solid. The rough part: hard surfaces hurt, I get cold way faster. Curious what others didn't expect when they dropped serious weight.

    GLP-1 Two-Year Check-In: Progress!

Got Ozempic in Colombia—didn't work, only 6 pounds over 24 weeks. Tried compounded—that was amazing. Then Mounjaro from India—22 more pounds in 18 weeks. Now on Berberine and weight's dropping faster than I want.

    Almost there...stalled!

12 months in and I'm thinking about the exit. I read that people regain like 4x faster than regular dieting and two-thirds get most of it back in a year. That scared me. I've been doing okay on the meds—don't wanna white-knuckle my way back to square one. What actually helped people who didn't...

    GLP-1s and Chocolate?

On mounjaro since march, type 2 diabetic. Drop the dose before stopping completely. Sulfur burps respond to antacids or pepcid—ask your doc. Spicy greasy foods and sweets trigger it. Drink 2-3 liters water daily, probiotics for gut health.
