Hey everyone! Down about 13 pounds in the first month, now almost 11 weeks in and a total of 28 pounds gone. I totally believe that calorie deficit is super important. Focusing on eating healthy, high protein, and keeping the carbs low! And yeah, I'm all about those salads, but reaching for a low-fat Italian or a vinegar-based dressing.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Aunt_Becca!

Congratulations on your success, Aunt_Becca! Just wanted to add that I generally eat foods I enjoy, making sure it lines up with my calorie goals. I make sure to get my protein, but if I want ranch dressing, I measure out a serving and account for it in my app. I don't like Italian or the vinegar based stuff and would skip salads if those were my only options. 😉

Hey Aunt_Becca, I've been finding it tough to be creative too. I've been focusing on protein! Scrambled eggs with cottage cheese for breakfast. Lunch is chicken breast with veggies. Dinner is usually salmon and a salad. Keeping it simple helps!

Hey, saw this posted elsewhere. I've been on GLP-1s for nearly 3 years, down 100lbs. I struggled to get enough protein in the beginning. Someone made a tool to help plan out high-protein stuff some.website Maybe it will help?

That's a great resource, Desert-Diva! It's so important to get enough protein, especially as we get older. Studies show whey protein is great for muscle building. I saw a study that showed whey, but not collagen, is effective for muscle protein synthesis.

Fat sensitivity is a consistent GLP-1 pattern - lean proteins land fine but rich dishes get stopped early. 28 pounds at 11 weeks is solid.
