Titrate down to the lowest dose that keeps blood sugar controlled. My endo said that when I had side effects and didn't need max weight loss. Switched to mounjaro, landed on a lower maintenance dose, gained 5 lbs because appetite suppression's milder.

Hey everyone! Just hit 13 months on Ozempic. Keep at it with the exercise and diet. It's worth all the effort! I feel like I've gotten a new lease on life. Ask me anything!

Hey! Congrats on the progress. That's amazing! I'm starting around 370 lbs, so you're a real encouragement. I was wondering, what's your experience been with extra skin after losing so much weight? Like on your stomach, arms, and legs? Has there been a lot of loose skin?

Another RN here. I'm at your 'before' right now. Hopeful that I can get where you are, congrats!

You look great! So happy that you're healthier. Are you at the weight you were targeting? What health benefits have you noticed since you lost?

Congrats! Did you experience hair loss during your weight loss and that's why you shaved your head, or was it a style choice?

Congratulations! You look amazing! Were you diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, or did your insurance cover the medication without needing prior authorization? If they did, who is your insurance provider? Thanks!

Hey! Yeah, the loose skin is something else. I've got some on my stomach for sure, a little on my arms, but not too bad on my legs. It seems to be changing still, and I'm hoping it'll tighten up a bit more. I'm trying to build more muscle to help fill it out.

I saw a post on Reddit where someone couldn't inject in their stomach anymore because of the loose skin. They had to switch to injecting in their leg, which they said was more painful. Just a heads up!

You look really healthy, congratulations! Do you think you'll stay on Ozempic long-term?

Yeah, that's a question I've been wondering about too. I've heard some people stay on it forever, while others eventually wean off. I'm hoping to eventually manage my weight without it, but for now, it's been a lifesaver.

I saw a post somewhere saying that the 'Ozempic face' thing is often BS, especially for younger people. It's more about rapid weight loss and low body fat. But they emphasized getting enough protein to support your muscles during the process!

glp meds slow down how fast your stomach empties, so other meds don't absorb the same way. people notice their usual stuff feels weaker or kicks in late. nausea and exhaustion early on don't help. def bring this up to your doc—they might adjust timing or dosing.
