I'm hovering around 95-ish pounds lost and I'm so close to that milestone! I tried on a dress and it was obviously way too big. The 'before' pic is from about a month into this journey. My starting weight was 505, and now I'm 406. I'm 5'7".

Exercise is tough because of other health stuff, but I started physical therapy to figure out pool exercises. That's really the only exercise I can do. I've been stuck, but my doctor says I'm still losing fat and gaining muscle, so I'm okay with a temporary plateau. It's frustrating when I see faster progress for others, but looking at these pics reminds me it's all worth it!

Dropping nearly 100 lbs in a year is amazing, not slow at all! Time for some new clothes for sure. Wishing you all the best and good health ahead.

That reminds me of the show *Baskets* with Louie Anderson (RIP). He played Christine, based on his mom. There were scenes of her exercising in a lake at night and feeling so free. It's a great memory.

I wish I had a pool nearby!

Congrats – that's a huge accomplishment! You're doing great.

Swimming's my favorite, not just as exercise, but everything. Moving without pain in the water is the best.

Wow, that's fantastic progress in a year! I started a few months ago, down about 25 pounds, and hoping to see similar results. Thanks for sharing!

I totally get the 'butt hurting' thing that I read about on Reddit... I've had to buy a cushion for my office chair because I've lost so much cushioning back there!
