Hello everyone! I'm a total newbie here, but I've already gleaned so much from all of you – thanks a bunch! My little lab mice are a week into their Reta experiment (at 1.75mg), and the preliminary results are encouraging. Since I'm new, a quick background: my rats are generally fit and active, but they've accumulated some extra padding during the pandemic that's proven stubborn to shed. I initially sourced their first dose from a well-known US supplier (a reseller), who, like many, inflate peptide prices significantly. For a single 10mg vial, I'm paying what could get me an entire kit from other sources mentioned here. The upside is the detailed sterility testing, COAs, and batch info – it eases my mind, truthfully. However, their prices aren't sustainable long-term. With their current weight loss trajectory and activity, I'm planning a month of ramp-up, two to three months at a steady dose, and then a month of tapering. The prices I've seen from some vendors would make this affordable, and I'd likely need about ten 10mg vials for my rats. Here's my dilemma... I'm a major hypochondriac. Not just the casual "I hope this isn't serious" type, but a clinically diagnosed one. My biggest fear about buying directly from overseas suppliers is sterility and the potential health consequences for my rats... you know... buying from abroad. I realize that most US resellers also source from overseas and resell, but the worry of something going wrong and harming my rats is overwhelming. I think I've identified a supplier through this forum that I'm about 90% comfortable with, but I can't find any proof of sterility testing, only purity. I know there's always risk involved, but can anyone help me overcome the remaining 10% of my hesitation? Thanks!
