Sema progress - 25lbs gone!

Started on 0.25mg for 4 weeks, then bumped to 0.5mg for eight weeks. Honestly, I didn't think this med would impact me this much!

I still have trouble seeing the changes sometimes, but others notice and my clothes definitely do! Everything is baggier, and I'm down 3 sizes (from 14/12 to an 8).

I keep reaching for larger sizes when shopping, then realizing they're too big now - weird but great!

Side effects? A little nausea the first few days, nothing terrible. I'm trying for healthy foods, but I allow myself a treat sometimes – gotta have balance!

I lift weights 3 times a week and walk almost every day.

Halfway to my goal - feeling great, strong, and super motivated!

That's great! I'm in my second week at 0.25mg and hoping the bump to 0.50mg goes smoothly. Experiencing some heartburn currently.

That's interesting. I'm on a 0.7 dose and haven't lost any weight.

That's frustrating! Maybe talk to your doctor about titrating up? Or evaluating your diet -- are you tracking calories?

I've been on it for 6 months, pretty consistent results. Started at 244lbs, now I'm around 214. 1800 cals, lots of chicken and salad. It's working!

28, 5'9", down from 260 to 165. ozempic july 2024, mounjaro early 2025, took a month off for gallbladder surgery. waist still soft and puffy while everything else lean. before/after pics attached.

Trusting the process through the plateau months is the real work. The noise from other people tends to peak right around when the scale goes quiet - which is usually when things are still happening below the surface.
