Down 60, feeling good!

I'm thrilled! I've managed to shed about 60 pounds! Around 40 of that was thanks to sema and the other 20 from tirzepatide. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Amazing! πŸ™Œ I just took my first dose - a small one. I don't feel anything yet, kind of disappointed since I was expecting some side effects! My doctor put me on it to get my hormones in check and hopefully jumpstart some weight loss. Fingers crossed it helps with my appetite!

Yeah metabolic adaptation slows progress but can't actually stop weight loss if you're in a deficit. What's more real is as you lose weight your calorie burn drops. Heavier people burn way more just existing. You might be eating the same but now it's at or above your expenditure.

That's fantastic! I'm almost at my first goal, about 18lbs down in 4+ months. It's been a struggle with insulin resistance from PCOS, so this feels like a huge win.

40 lbs on sema and another 20 on Tirz is a clean sequential protocol - the switch itself tells you the GIP component was adding something the sema track alone wasn't covering.

Do you have an ultimate weight you're aiming for?
I do! I'm hoping to get down another 20-25 pounds. It's been a long journey but I'm really proud of the progress so far.

I totally get that feeling of being shocked in pictures. I used to HATE having my picture taken. Since losing some weight, I'm a little more relaxed about it. It's a mental game as much as physical!
