Canada customs experiences?

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. That sounds awful.

I'm really asking about shipping from China. The vendor I'm considering has a Canadian warehouse that's out of stock, and they said it probably won't be restocked anytime soon. So I'd have to order from their China warehouse. I'm worried about customs. Why was yours in customs if it was coming from Canada? Sounds odd. That defeats the point of ordering domestically.

No, it was from China. That's what I meant... customs issues. I'm just stressed because I'm not sure if I should reorder from a different vendor.

That's good to know, but the shipper updates the information. I contacted the seller, then I learned about 17track and it has info, but it was updated just yesterday. So the website itself is okay, but the vendor or shipper can fake the info.

I'm not blaming anyone, just sharing my recent experience with deliveries to Canada.

That doesn't add up. After the shipper picks up the package, how do they know where it is?

According to 17TRACK, the carriers are the ones who post tracking information and it says on their website:

"17TRACK automatically gets the latest tracking info from the carriers every 6-12 hours".

So if customs has it, they'll either give it to Canada Post, or the vendor's carrier, or they'll keep it and mail you a letter.

I just received a message from the vendor. They mentioned that customs has been more strict lately and that more packages are being stopped. I inquired about when they plan to resend my order and they asked me to contact them around the end of February.

I have a no source rule, so I will respect it.

And I paid more than $10.

But I can order from other places who ship during the holidays. I'm patient, but I am telling you what's been happening. In Canada, there are more seizures at the border.

Some sellers have Canadian locations, maybe that's better right now.

After speaking with the vendor, she agreed to resend the package. She gave me a real tracking number and said good luck getting it through customs. So, fingers crossed. It's not that the vendor is bad, they've been honest, but customs in Canada is making things harder. Good luck The_IMO.

I've read about some people trying to get prescriptions from their doctors in the US and then having it shipped internationally. Has anyone here done that successfully? I have dual citizenship and my doc here is willing to write a script, but I'd need to get it shipped overseas.

I don't know if they ship internationally but some people have mentioned that BC9.CO place. They might know something about the legalities and if you can even get a script faxed over.

Canada customs on peptides is inconsistent by region - Ontario and BC report more holds than Alberta or the Maritimes, but the pattern shifts. Most successful deliveries come marked as research chemicals or supplements, and packages under 100g rarely get flagged regardless of province.
