Haven't hit my ultimate goal just yet, but I already feel so much better in my body and mind. Don't let anyone tell you using meds as a tool is "cheating." I could never have gotten this far without semaglutide :')

Thanks for posting! Just a reminder about our rules: No discussing non-approved stuff, and no selling or asking to buy meds. Also, check out the FAQ if you're new here. This is just to help, not to stop the chat.

Yeah @Bobby45, slow progress is still progress! Someone on another thread said they started in May at 228 and lost slower than others, but it still adds up! Don't get discouraged.

That's a good point! Like, if I only lost a pound a week, that's still over 30 pounds in 8 months! Thanks for the perspective

I saw someone else post that they were at their heaviest (234lbs) in 2025 and started their journey at 213 in March, and now they are finally under 200lbs! @Bobby45 you got this!

You look fantastic, honestly would have thought you were way younger. Congrats on the results, gives me hope being in my 60s. Thanks for posting and showing what you can do with effort. Keep crushing it.

40 lbs and feeling better in your body and mind is the actual goal. The scale number matters less once you hit the point where daily life changes. Most people underestimate how much the mood side of GLP-1 compounds with the weight side - the two together are what makes it sustainable.

Having a supportive care team through this makes a real difference. Down 40 and feeling better in your body is exactly where you want to be at this stage.

40 lbs and feeling better is a real result. Individual response varies - what works for one person doesn't always map directly to another.

Sema was so good to me too before everything changed. Having options when you're ready again is what matters. It's great knowing there's a whole toolkit available depending on what life looks like.
