Is it just ME...or do I still feel fat?

I can totally relate to that @Bug-IRL. I'm afraid of getting rid of things, too. It's been a long time since I've been this size, so I'm keeping some of my older clothes just in case. Maybe put them in storage?

I'm the same way! I can't get rid of anything. I still have 'skinny' clothes from years ago in tubs, and now I can't get rid of the bigger sizes either!

I saw someone mention feeling 'deflated' after losing weight

If you are feeling deflated maybe it’s time for resistance training. You have to lift weights and focus on protein intake. Weight training, even light weights will make a huge difference.
That's so common! You probably lost some muscle, especially if you didn't up your protein. Good news is, your skin will tighten over time (6-12 months), and you can build back muscle with strength training. Aim for almost a gram of protein per pound of body weight!

Over 3 years and 110 down, I eat what I want - meat, fish, veggies, butter, steak. Skip the simple carbs mostly, track my meals, lift and walk 6 days. Still on my meds every 8-9 days. Maintenance for a year now and don't feel cheated.

It's such a cool feeling when stuff actually starts fitting different. I'm getting new things now that feel right, though now I'm wondering if I should keep the old stuff just in case? It's a nice problem to have honestly.

No heart rate swings for me and digestion's fine. Down 70 pounds total, hit a plateau the last few months by the scale, but my clothes fit different so I'm probably still burning fat. Could be my head, hard to tell. Not stressing it yet. Should move around more once the weather breaks.

Iron and protein are separate things - most whey powders have no iron unless added. Some plant-based ones like pea protein contain iron naturally since it comes from the plant. You need both, so either find foods with iron or take a supplement. Pea protein might give you both in one, but collagen protein won't have iron so you'd still need the supplement on the side.

This post hits me hard. I mostly see complaints here. As a mom, it gave me the confidence to actually show up at my kid's events instead of hanging back. I'm just really grateful I could get these meds and get my life back.

I still do this honestly! I'll reach for a larger size on the rack out of habit and then feel surprised when it's too big. The brain really takes a while to update. It's such a weird feeling.

I stopped going out for a while because I just felt fat and ugly and didn't want to run into anyone. Clothes don't fit right and I was hard on myself. But I'm only on my second shot and already feel so much better. Can't wait to actually have my life back. I walk my dog every morning so at least he keeps me honest. If I skip it he bugs me until we go.

That lag between what the body is and what the brain thinks it is - incredibly common. Most people hit goal and still see the old version for months. It catches up.

The free food thing is something else entirely. It isn't hunger or even want - it's an ingrained reflex that weight loss and medication don't really touch. The brain has filed it under a different category. The body image lag is similar - perception adjusts on its own timeline, separate from what the scale or mirror actually shows.

The disconnect between what the body is and what the brain thinks it is - that doesn't resolve when the scale moves. The brain takes months to catch up. It's a real lag that happens to most people who've lost significant weight. Not a pep talk, just the reality.
