Exercise ain't that great for weight loss?!

just hit 30 days of this peptide stack plus extra bpc-157 and tb-500 daily (dropping those tomorrow) for rotator cuff surgery, bicep tenodesis and labrum repair. docs said I'm two weeks ahead of where they thought I'd be. mid 50s, male, hoping to start strength work at six weeks instead of eight to twelve.

By week 9 that 1 to 1.6 lbs weekly is solid. I'm at 62 injections and down 96 lbs, averaging about 1.5 a week. You're tracking well, keep it going. Starting weight 245, now at 149. No target in mind, just following the body scan numbers.

The LBM preservation question on GLP-1s is real - protein intake and resistance training slow the loss that comes with large deficits but don't fully prevent it. Exercise as a weight loss tool isn't the right frame; it's better understood as metabolic health and LBM defense during restriction.

The slowdown from rapid early loss to 1-2 lb per month is the normal progression - the psychological adjustment is often harder than the physical one. Diet review makes sense at the one-month stall mark because the medication effect tends to plateau earlier than people expect.
