Almost to my first goal!

That's fantastic, @Kim_12! You're progressing beautifully. Setting smaller, incremental goals is definitely the way to maintain motivation. Have you taken measurements? Comparing measurements and how your clothes fit can provide even more encouragement along the way.

That's so awesome, Kim_12!!! Breaking it down into smaller goals totally makes sense. It's way easier to stay pumped up when you're not staring at some HUGE number, right? Almost 35 pounds gone is epic, and you're practically there! Woohoo! 🎉🎉🎉

Started at 264.6, goal 160, now at 199.9. Haven't been under 200 since before 2020 pregnancy. Even when I started sema in July it felt impossible. Losing about two pounds weekly steadily. Feeling grateful and more confident than ever. Bonus: drinking stopped appealing and my shopping habits dropped too. Cost about 180 monthly but I'm still ahead because spending shifted completely. Thirty-nine pounds left.

Thanks everyone for the support! It really helps keep me going. I've been thinking about increasing my dose soon. Right now I'm on 0.5mg and it's still working, but I want to make sure I don't plateau.

I hear you on that, Kim_12. Some people find their 'sweet spot' dose and stick with it. I saw someone say they are still on 0.5mg and it still works for them. I wonder if that's sustainable long term? Also, @Chris_2002, what are your thoughts on long term usage at a low dose?

Long-term usage, even at lower doses, requires careful monitoring. It's essential to assess kidney function, blood glucose levels, and any potential side effects regularly. Some individuals may find a lower dose effective for maintenance, while others may require adjustments over time.

I'm down 105 pounds in about a year and a half! Started at 261, currently at 156! My goal is 150 for now, but eventually I want to be around 130-145 with some muscle! You've got this, Kim_12!

Your starting number is almost exactly what I had, and I got my first shot last night. If I reach your spot in a year I'd be over the moon - you look fantastic and you earned it.

Huge baskets of picked strawberries after a dose bump had me thinking I was dying. Almost hit the ER. Took days to recover. Happened again with preshelled pistachios. Quantity's what gets me.

Started flat too first week, kinda freaked me out honestly. But I was dieting hard as well so couldn't pin down what was what. The mood shift leveled off quick though.

I'm five foot and didn't require shots at 225. Now at 176 I'm basically wasting. Still technically overweight for my height! My goal is still obese by charts. But folks keep saying I should quit.
