Anyone else feel like it's cheating?

Get extra needles at the pharmacy, they're cheap. You can use the rest — 0.25 pens have 8 doses of 0.25mg and you can double-dose the higher ones. Don't use it if the liquid's cloudy. The label says use before seven weeks but it's good till it goes cloudy.

Could split dosing be related to the plateau? Everyone online says something different—some say split it, others say never. Theory is that hunger days help your body reset and make the drug work better. I've been eating more filling stuff like potatoes on those days, and lately trying berberine—actually working for me.

My experience has been the opposite direction - partner's libido went even lower. Intimacy pretty much dried up at this point.

Being on this stuff has actually made me way less anxious about what other people think. I used to worry constantly about being liked, but now I just feel more relaxed most days.

Same thing happens to me. Catch myself holding breath without realizing it. Can't push myself to hang out or do basic stuff around the house. Feels like a dopamine thing. When I force myself into cardio it helps snap me out of it.

The clothed vs. unclothed body image gap is extremely common after significant loss. The loose skin question has a mixed answer - some tightens over 12-18 months, some doesn't. Walking and resistance training help the compositional side. The deflation feeling tends to improve more than people expect in the first two years, especially with consistent activity.

The restaurant strategy is the thing that keeps it sustainable - smaller portions and low-pressure ordering means you stay consistent without turning every meal out into a negotiation with yourself.

The amount of actual work you're doing - the 1100 cal tracking, the three-day running schedule, the lifts, the swimming - makes the cheating framing backwards. What the medication changes is the ceiling on what consistent effort can accomplish, not the effort itself. The emotional piece that comes up alongside significant body change is a documented pattern with GLP-1 mechanisms that extend beyond appetite into mood regulation pathways. The 'didn't earn it' loop tends to fade once the result is stable for long enough that the new body state becomes the baseline. Getting to 165 from 270 is real regardless of what got you there.

The lower-dose plus resistance work combination for muscle recomposition at goal weight is the right approach - GLP-1 maintained at maintenance dosing preserves appetite regulation while allowing the calorie adjustment needed for muscle building. Protein target at this stage should be higher than during active weight loss.
