WOW!! You look INCREDIBLE!🤩 Would you mind sharing your starting point & which dose has worked best for you? I've lost almost the same (I’ve lost 47lbs in 8 months, starting weight was around 230lbs). I started on one med but gained back what I lost + some when I had to stop for surgery; started another med a few months later & after moving up to a dosage, my doc kept me on it for ages so I stopped losing & was happy to go up another dose last month. I’m a slow loser because of thyroid issues & other surgeries + I can’t move as much because of chronic pain + Menopause (I’m 56). Low carb/low cal diets were a waste of time so these meds are lifesavers (particularly for those of us with high A1C & other metabolic problems). Congrats again on your loss; I love seeing other people’s journey & progress (it’s hard to “see” my own so I pay attention to people who’ve lost roughly the same & CAN see their progress, and your before & after pics are amazing!!🤩 Sorry for the long post lol. Congrats!!🎉 🤩

For those asking about when the medication "kicks in", remember everyone responds differently. Some people may experience effects very soon after starting, while others may take longer. Consistent adherence to the prescribed dosage and lifestyle changes are key.

You look so different! What a fantastic journey for you, thanks for sharing it. I'm just starting out and it's inspiring to see this!

Great point! I think people sometimes expect immediate results but patience and consistency are truly vital for success.

Best to let your doctor in on this stuff. They can't stop you from taking them but knowing what's going on helps them make smart decisions about your care.

Opposite here - can't quit sleeping! On week 5 of the 5mg dose. Got a bruise from a blood vessel issue in week 4, then a red bump from week 5.

Use CALM brand magnesium and Metamucil in water every day. But don't take a week off and expect to pick up where you left off - that's not how it works!

I was maxed at 5mg for four months, dropped 30 and held steady. New NP thinks 18.5 BMI is too thin, cut me down to 2.5 last week. I've been stable at this weight for months, bloodwork's solid, protein's fine. She keeps saying I look starved but I'm not. I'm probably just switching providers instead of paying the same for half the dose.

The difference shows up fast even if gains feel slow. Stopped chasing perfect and that helped me chill out about how quick things move.
