1. Some people start at half the recommended dose. You don't need to increase the dose if you feel okay and it’s still effective (less appetite/cravings). I only increase my dose when my hunger returns.
2. Avoid greasy, fried, or very sugary foods. They're slow to digest and can cause nausea.
3. Get some exercise, even just walking. You want to maintain and build muscle. Walking helps with energy and digestion.
4. Drink lots of water and add electrolytes.
5. Prevent constipation. Oatmeal for breakfast and a couple of kiwis after dinner work for me, but I also started a mild laxative a couple of days before my first injection.
6. Prioritize sleep. Your body digests and recovers while you sleep.
7. Eat regularly, small meals. Don’t skip meals, it will hurt your digestion and cause fatigue, hair loss, or dizziness.
