Mounjaro pen clicks - how many?

Just be super careful about sterility. If you're reusing needles or drawing from a pen multiple times, you increase the risk of infection. Always swab with alcohol!
 
I've heard of people staying on the lowest dose of sema (like 0.25mg) for a super long time and still seeing results. Anyone else doing that rather than automatically upping the dose?
 
Trying to figure out the same thing with my pen actually. The dial marks and the clicks dont always match up perfectly. Good call taking yours apart to check. Its confusing how different interpretations give different doses.
 
Rx ozempic did nothing but lock me up. Total waste of money. When I switched to tirz on a 5-day schedule, first shot nothing, second shot appetite just dropped off. That's exactly what I needed to cut the binge eating. Still figuring out next dose but this feels right.
 
mounjaro messed with my cycle — went from light & regular to super heavy periods twice a month. got on birth control and it stopped. I'm back on a microdose now with no issues.
 
For a 7.5mg Mounjaro pen - it's one dose per pen, not multiple clicks per pen. Four shots means four pens. The click is just the activation mechanism.
 
On the Mounjaro KwikPen the click count is 4 per dose level marking — so 4 clicks for one dose unit. Hold the button until the dose window shows zero AND you've heard the click cadence stop. Easy to under-dose if you let go too early. The first one or two times feel weirdly long if you're expecting a quick injection.
 
Counting clicks is the reliable method for tracking dose. Keep needles stocked - most people get more than the labeled shot count when tracking by clicks.
 
Disassembling an empty pen is the right way to understand the click mechanism - seeing how the dial works makes clear why audible clicks are the more reliable measurement than counting dash marks on the face, which have wider variation between individual pens.
 
The click calculation matters a lot with brand pens because the mg/mL varies by country and pen version - the US red pen math is different from other configurations. Running the numbers before dosing rather than assuming the pen version is good practice, especially when titrating based on click counts.
