Anyone found a good constipation fix?

I've been dealing with constipation despite a high-fiber diet, including a couple of servings of a fiber supplement, and even trying prune juice. I'd often go several days without a bowel movement and then resort to a laxative, which would lead to pretty intense results, sometimes with straining.

Recently, I started eating a small bowl of mixed raw fruit in the afternoon – a few chunks of both cantaloupe and pineapple, plus some cherries and strawberries. It's worked wonders for regular, easy bowel movements! Plus, it's not too high in calories and keeps me feeling full.

Glad the fruit trick worked for you — this guide to GLP-1 GI side effects has more approaches people landed on after the laxative-cycle got rough.

Chia seeds have helped me quite a bit. Either chia jam or chia pudding. The jam with yogurt is especially effective for me.

Magnesium citrate can also be helpful. It is gentle and effective for occasional constipation. Just be sure to drink plenty of water with it.

For severe constipation, some people find Miralax helpful. It's an osmotic laxative that draws water into the bowel to soften the stool. However, it's important to use it as directed and not rely on it long-term without consulting a healthcare professional.

Stayed hydrated and took laxatives when needed. Constipation eventually passed for me after months though. Hang in there.

Honestly I'm not bothering with that anymore. When I pointed out that ABC failed sterility tests, people said half of all testing fails including big pharma. No point arguing.
