First Ozempic dose - I'm stoked!

All the best on your path forward! Peppermint tea is great for any nausea, and magnesium can help with the constipation some folks experience.

Thanks for the tips! I've been having some issues. I'll grab some tea later.

Checked my weight this morning and was thrilled-after 5 weeks I'm down 5.7kg, which is already 20% of my target gone. Eating protein-focused meals and drinking tons of water, no serious workouts yet. So far I've had four 2.5mg shots plus one 5mg dose.

For those just starting, it's normal to feel a little anxious but also excited! I found some helpful onboarding info that explained what to expect each week.

Something I didn't expect was how much my appetite changed! Used to love spicy food and carbonated drinks, but they don't sit well with me anymore. Anyone else experience this?

For me it's been like that first trimester feeling - not hungry at all, food smells weird, random nauseous moments. Some foods I used to eat just seem off now.

First semaglutide reaction: movie theater popcorn destroyed me for hours. Peanut butter was brutal too. After two years at 0.25, I can have small amounts without issues.

If you're starting out, go slow - real slow. Begin with one dose and give your body time to adjust before adding more. Everyone's different and you won't know how you'll respond until it happens. This isn't a sprint.
