GLP-1s = heart help?

We're probably only seeing the tip of the iceberg with these meds. Who knows what else they'll do for us down the line... or what weird side effects we'll discover. Maybe we'll all grow an extra finger or something. 😜

I'd be okay with that, @Beexx!

But seriously, getting on sema ten months ago (initially brand name with insurance, then compounded when I lost my job) has been incredible. My bloodwork is now perfect according to my doctor. My cholesterol dropped from over 200 to around 120, my testosterone is way up, and the fatty infiltration in my liver is gone. The heart benefits are just icing on the cake.

I've lost about 19% of my body weight, but I've stalled. I just started on tirz to try and lose another 10%. Wish me luck!

LOL @Beexx, an extra appendage opens up possibilities! I'd trade a toe for it.

But wow, @In_The_Making, those are amazing results! Congrats! I'm hoping to do the same thing – sema until I plateau, then switch to tirz.

Super excited to get going!

Denmark's economy is supposedly booming because of these drugs. Anyone else see that? I wonder if that's sustainable, especially with other companies coming out with competing meds.

Yeah, I heard that too. It's great for them, but I also saw some Danes are upset because stock values dropped from their peak. Always a trade-off, I guess.

Looking into Semax lately and been on it two weeks now. Saw some Reddit threads about ACD856 too — it's a nootropic that works on BDNF like Selank. Has anyone here tried either? Curious how they compare.

Go and have fun. Even at max appetite now you fill quick and overdoing it feels bad, so overeating stays unlikely. Prioritize favorites before hitting satiety. Let yourself enjoy the experience.
