Welcome to the semaglutide forum! Quick reminder: no discussion of unapproved formulations, and definitely no buying or selling meds here. If anyone PMs you offering to sell, that's a scam. Heads up, we have an FAQ if you're just getting started. Hope it helps!

That's seriously amazing. My Zappy NP said the biggest victory is feeling in control for once, like you're finally behind the wheel!

That's so inspiring! I'm just starting to look into GLP-1 meds. I have over 100lbs to lose and I'm honestly pretty nervous. Can you tell me more about your experience?

For those asking: yes, it takes effort. Wegovy or similar helps, but it's not magic. Still requires diet and exercise. Don't expect it to just melt off.

Thanks for the reality check! I think I needed to hear that. It's easy to get caught up in the hype. What kind of exercise have you found most helpful?

I'm down about 50 pounds myself using sema. It's been about 24 weeks. Starting weight around 340, now I'm like 290. Feeling amazing!
That is excellent progress! What dosage are you on?

Started at 0.5 and hit a plateau after 12 months, so bumped to 0.75. The weight came off slowly but steadily after that. For me the real win is having actual appetite control now.

Put off getting new stuff for ages after my yo-yo days, but dropping 80 just changed everything. Feels good grabbing an off-the-rack item and having it actually work.

Started at 7mg instead of ramping up from 3. First month 3mg for side effect adjustment, but 7 where results appear for most. Stayed 7 til plateau hit, then 14 for eight months. Total 80 lbs in 16 months then back to 7 for long-term.

Maintaining after a year off and then returning is the pattern that proves the medication wasn't doing all the work - the habits you built during the active phase are what held the weight. The mis-steps early in maintenance are the calibration period, not failure.

The taper-plus-gym combination is the playbook that actually gets the muscle back - the high dose suppresses appetite but also pulls from muscle if you're not countering it with resistance work. The exercise list is solid for the posterior chain specifically, and inclined walking is underrated for keeping the deficit without hammering recovery. Coming back down to 1mg while keeping the gym routine is the right sequence for holding the progress.

The biometric clearing is a meaningful data point - facial geometry features are more durable than weight, so passing now means the algorithm sees consistency. The passport reality checks out too; border agents rely on the machine read more than they do a manual photo comparison.
