I'm looking forward to when the generic versions of the GLP-1 medications are available. This reddit thread says the patent in Canada for one popular medication will expire in January 2026.

My insurance stopped covering one of the GLP-1 meds, so I had to switch to another anyway. But when I am on maintenance doses, maybe I could switch back to save some money!

Ugh, tariffs would make things even harder to afford. Some people really need these meds. I work with a type 2 diabetic where this is the only thing that works to lower their A1C.

Down 95 lbs now with more to shed. Only notice the difference when old photos pop up-suddenly I have a neck and eyes again lol. Great motivation.

If it's still in powdered form in the vial, warm it for 15 minutes before mixing to check consistency.

Maintaining at 1.7 is still progress. Sometimes the weight stalls before it drops again.

Rough diet first two weeks and still lost seven is good. Dialed in from the start, twenty plus would be water weight. With consistent protein, next six weeks should look better. Good luck!
