Ozempic then Mounjaro?

I'd be curious to hear more about your experience switching from Ozempic to Mounjaro. I've been on Ozempic for about a year and a couple of months, with maybe 4 months at the highest dose of 2mg. I've hit a standstill. It's possible for me to lose weight if I'm super strict, but the food cravings are coming back. I have a doctor's appointment coming up and I'm thinking about asking about Mounjaro, hoping it will kickstart my weight loss and help with the hunger. Congrats, you look amazing!

Incredible! You should be so proud of what you've achieved so far! Do you feel great in your body now?

Lost 30kg using ozempic then the remaining 15 on mounjaro. Personally felt my blood sugar was more stable on ozempic. Mounjaro gave me crash sensations repeatedly. Tried different amounts but ozempic just worked better for my system overall.

I hate coffee and hot drinks give me issues. Caffeine sensitivity too. But I want to lose weight, so everything's working against the coffee route.

The stall-then-switch pattern from Oz to Mounjaro is the GIP receptor component making the difference - the dual mechanism catches people who plateau on sema alone, and being off all other diabetes meds is the downstream outcome the trials predicted.

was on ozempic for a year and it worked great until it didn't. switched to mounjaro in may and nothing's happened since then. doc's worried about starting over if i go back but mounjaro isn't doing anything and if ozempic works again it feels worth the reset.

my psych np said semaglutide takes 'joy' away and recommended switching to tirzepatide. doc rolled their eyes but i didn't care what they thought. switched anyway and within 6 weeks huge change. know it's different for other people but that was mine.
