Anyone tried the new pill form GLP-1?

A retail company has 6 mg x 90 caps for around $170 right now. More expensive, but fast shipping & a lab report (for what that's worth).

I saw a post this morning that a vendor had some extra stock from a group buy. DM if you want the name, but I’m not posting it publicly right now. It was orfo 12 mg x 100 (3x lab tested).

I noticed effects at 4mg with a liquid, but needed 10mg with tablets (assuming the measurements were accurate).

I want to try the pill form but I'm nervous about switching from injections. Has anyone switched from Wegovy to oral sema? What was it like?

I'm not a fan of taking a daily pill, personally. I do better with a once-a-week injection. I'd only switch if the pills were way cheaper. But it's good to have options for people who can't do needles. I saw someone on reddit say

I've been on Wegovy injections for about 9 months and when my doctor mentioned the new oral version back in January I basically said "yes please" before she finished the sentence. I was so done with needles.

I saw a post from someone who just started the Rybelsus and they said they lost 4 pounds in the first week. I'd be thrilled with that! Of course, it probably won't keep up that pace. But if I could lose 1 pound a week, I'd reach my goal in about half a year.

What's the recommended starting dose?
I would suggest starting low and titrating up slowly to minimize potential side effects. Monitor your body's response and adjust accordingly. Consulting with a healthcare professional is always a good idea before starting any new medication.

Check out the dosing schedule for the semaglutide pill - once daily, keeps levels pretty steady. If fluctuations mattered, they'd probably go weekly with a bigger dose instead. Pills are way easier than needles for most folks.

People are turning to peptides because regular healthcare is failing. 2 years to get a gastro intake in my area. That's why.

Ever tried dropping Mounjaro for four weeks to reset? Been on GLPs for 18 months and lately getting dizzy spells which is new and can't be blamed on blood pressure.
