Just got back from my checkup, and I'm happy to report I'm down to 282 from 290 just a month ago on semaglutide! I'm so excited! Usually, I'd be hitting up a fast food joint for a burger and fries, but I'm thinking grilled salmon with some roasted asparagus instead. Congrats to all of you crushing your goals! I still have ways to go, but reading your stories really motivates me. Thanks for sharing!

Just a reminder to everyone: let's keep the discussion focused on approved medications and avoid discussing non-FDA approved versions or any buying/selling of medications. Please review the FAQ if you're new here. This is just to help, not to stifle conversation!

Amazing job!! I still have a long road ahead of me too. I've lost about 22 in the last couple of months, and want to lose another 55.

Incredible job! I'm so proud of you! I used to get food as a reward when I was little, but now I treat myself with things like mani-pedis, massages, facials, or new shoes. It helps to pick a reward that you'll really look forward to and use it as motivation to keep going. Breaking down your weight loss into smaller goals and celebrating those milestones can be really helpful. Keep up the great work, and please keep us updated!

I saw someone post 'Man in the mirror' and that really hit home for me. It's not just about the weight, it's about feeling good about yourself. Congrats on your progress!

That's amazing progress for one month! I hope I see similar results.

I was much better the first four months. Month five has been absolute hell for my digestion. Think my gut isn't handling this little food anymore. Down forty-five pounds.

First month and my appetite totally flipped. Looking for meal and snack ideas that work when food sounds terrible or my stomach's unhappy from side effects. Apples with almond butter, Greek yogurt with berries and chia, and cheese with crackers have been the easiest for me.

8 lbs in the first month is in the solid early range - the pattern past month 2 is a better indicator of the sustained rate than the first month number.

8 lbs in the first month on sema is solid - the behavioral shift away from fast food shows the medication doing what it's designed to do. The insurance coverage gap story is the one nobody posts about enough: cold turkey from 15mg and gaining 8 lbs in a week before phentermine as a bridge is the hard version of a real access problem.
